If I were to win $422, I would gather all the children in the neighborhood and form a clean up effort.  I’d buy gloves, sacks, and a delicious lunch for them.  We’d then have an Clean Up celebration.  We already clean up our neighborhood with a spring cleaning, but this would give the kids some ownership and teach them how important it is that EVERYONE do their part.

    What a great idea ‘Earth Day / Birthday’” - I first learned about the importance of recycling whine I was seven and it’s stuck with me ever since. Adults can learn from kids too - if five year olds are recycling there’s no reason why adults shouldn’t.
